How to format android phone without knowing screen lock or password

Hello !
Everyone is having a smartphone and have applied password or pattern in order to protect their secret files☺. But its becomes very big problem when you forgot your pattern or password. You can reset your password by using your google account but if you are unable to access your google account then it becomes headache. You have Forgot your pattern, unable to access google account to recovee pattern  then don't take headache because I have tablet for that ... its too easy like taking tablet. But like tablets there may be side effects of applying these method. But don't worry if you follow correct steps then you will do it easily without any problems.
These are the steps to follow.
You have to hard reset your phone to its factory state i.e. your phone will become a new one.

Before going further first of all see the related terms

1. Rom: ROM is a package of the programs which runs your phone and you are able to use use your phone only because of rom. Rom provides user interface and stock applications.
ROM is abbreviated as Read Only Memory which means that one can only read the files on rom can't modify its contents. If you are able to do any how( by rooting your phone) you may get in trouble if your aren't aware of what content you are modifying. even in this blog I'm not going in deep.

2. Recovery mode : A recovery mode is you can say a program in android which is used to manipulate your rom. By the help of recovery mode
You can update your rom ie your phone software by providing an appropriate rom file.
You can format your phone to its factory state.
Can Create backup and restore backups
Can wipe cache and dalvic cache
and some other works can also be done in recovery mode.

Most of the phone come with a recovery mode. If your phone doesn't have recovery mode then you may install a custom recovery. There are many custom recovery programs you can choose one. I will explain the process of installation of recovery mode on some other blog.

3. Hard Reset: Or factory reset. is a term which is used for formatting your phone. After hard reset your phone goes to its initial state an you can't go back. So before performing hard reset be careful.

4. Wipe Cache: Cache files are generated in order to inhance performance of your phone. These files are access by applications in your phone. Every app generates its own cache file in order to perform faster. By wiping cache you are performing the deletion of the application data of your phone.

5. User Data: After your first run of your phone, all the data you have put to your phone is user's data. It is all your settings, your Contacts, Messages , Images, Videos, Notes, etc... So these data are important to you so you need to save your data. You can save your data by using these steps...
So before doing anything first off all you may have backup your data by nandroid backup(google it). or if you are reading this article before you have forgotten your pattern then
You can export your contacts to sd card and upload that to gmail or any cloud storage .
You can backup your message using some apps available at play store.
You can export or sync your notes.
and can save other data to some other space or in memory card Because memory card will ot be formatted.

Procedure ...

Now after backup all your important data you can go further to hard reset your phone.
First off all you have to search for your device company and device model
After that google for the hard reset combination keys for you handset model.
Generally the key combination to go to your recovery mode are...

Power Button + Volume Down key
or

Power Button + Volume Up Key

or if your phone have home button like samsung phones then

power button + home button.
After you have search and confirmed you can go further

Follow these steps carefully (I'm not responsible for you bricked your phone try at your owm risk😊)
First see your phone is charged upto 60% or it can give atleast an hour backup.
then turn of your phone wait or count upto 20 then press power button
as the phone starts press the power button and volume down button simultaneously and leave power key after 2 or 3 seconds and keep the volume button pressed untill you go to recovery mode.
If have gone to recovery mode then its better and if you haven't then your phone will boot up normally. You have to try again by power off wait for some time or count 20.
then power on as the android logo appears press the power button and volume down button simultaneously and then press volume down button leave it again press do it untill you have vibration.
Now you are in recovery menu.
It have some option like

reboot to system
update zip from sd card
choose updated zip from sd card
wipe user data
wipe cache
wipe dalvic cache
backup

and some other options.
You can go up and down by volume buttons and can select an option by pressing power button.
Now follow the steps carefully
first goto
wipe user data
select it by pressing power button
you will go to new window here select
yes
ten you will see the process below
after the process complete
goto
Wipe cache
Select it and in the new window Select
yes
then
do the same with dalvic cache

after all the process complete goto
reboot system now
select it
your phone will power off and on itself. dont do anything  just see it and keep patience... it takes some time.
If the phone doesn't start then keep it down
as it is .. and go and do some study.
Even after too much time your phone doesn't starts then you may have soft bricked. But the chances of softbrick are rare. If you're unlucky and have softbricked your phone then you havevto do some extra effort to take yoyr phone to its normal state. I will Explain How to Update Firmware in other blog.
